Kim Royster
PartnerMarket and Survey Research Kim has more than 20 years experience in market, survey and focus group research and strategic planning for corporate, institutional and governmental clients. Details Kim’s areas of specialization include overall research design and methods, data analysis and executive level reporting. Research methods and study types include segmentation, attitude and awareness, customer satisfaction, brand tracking, new product evaluation, color/design/graphics testing, advertising copy/campaign evaluation, and product/package/logo testing. Prior to forming The Pulse Group, Kim was a management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand and Laventhol & Horwath, where she managed the firm’s business and consumer research practice nationally. Ms. Royster received her Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois and her Masters degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management—Thunderbird. Kim enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter and assorted pets, including a very large Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy.
Tom Tucker
PartnerEconomic Consulting & Strategic Planning Tom has more than 25 years experience in providing market research, economic research, strategic planning, financial analysis and workout/restructuring services to corporate, institutional and governmental clients. Details Tom’s areas of specialization include: market, economic and survey research, analyses designed to identify the potential for new/renovated real estate, hospitality and recreation oriented projects, acquisition/development planning, concept definition/refinement, image building for brands, economic and financial analysis/packaging, strategic planning for asset workouts/restructurings, financial due diligence services and the design of marketing, service and operational strategies aimed at increasing sales, enhancing profitability and promoting stronger customer satisfaction. Prior to forming The Pulse Group, Mr. Tucker was a management consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. and Laventhol and Horwath, where he managed a wide variety of management consulting assignments both nationally and internationally. Tom received his Masters degree in urban planning from the University of Oregon and his Bachelor’s degree from St. Michael’s College. Tom enjoys hiking, boating and college football, particularly Oregon Duck football, as well as giving the fans from other PAC 10 schools a hard time.
Vernon Crawford

Vernon has more than 20 years of experience in business development, process improvement, and strategic planning, with an expertise in the development of corporate human resources and training programs for corporate and institutional clients. Details Mr. Crawford holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification in process improvement, and has an expert understanding of franchise organizations. He has served as Training Director for Fatburger Corporation, El Pollo Loco, IHOP Corp, Union Carbide, and Jiffy Lube International. He has also provided training program development, supervisory & leadership skills development, and operational consultation for Stanford University, Yan Can of Yum Brands, Inc., and Custom Building Products. Vernon received is Bachelors of Science degree in economics from American University in Washington, D.C. In addition, he has completed and been certified in a variety of professional development courses covering training program development, food safety, human resources, strategic planning and process improvement methodology. Vernon enjoys spending time with his family, assisting with his daughter’s softball team, running, playing on his computer and with anything “high-tech”, and is an avid sports fan (especially college basketball).
Bill Farley

Bill is the proud father of two beautiful daughters and enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing and woodworking. |
Ron Hagan
Strategic PartnerGovernmental Consulting Ron has been a community services professional for more than over 30 years. Ron is known throughout his profession as a pioneer and as an expert in structuring public/private partnerships, to generate necessary revenue for capital improvements and public services. Details During the course of his career, Ron served as the Director of Community Services for the Cities of Claremont, Fullerton and Huntington Beach, California. Most recently, as Director of Community Services for Huntington Beach, Ron initiated and directed the City’s $40 million beachfront renovation project, which has become one of the nations most vital downtown public/private investment partnerships. During his 12 years in Huntington Beach, Ron also helped to greatly expand the City’s tourism base from about 4.0 million visitors per year, to over 7.0 million. Ron has been a member of the California Park & Recreation Society for 30 years and graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Ron is accomplished golfer and a very active proud grandfather.

Details Through his corporate and investment banking leadership at The Bank of Nova Scotia and ABN AMRO North America, Errett spent nearly ten years assisting both small and large companies within varying manufacturing industries (e.g., forest products, apparel, steel, food, aerospace and automotive) in meeting their growth and financial objectives. In addition, Errett spent nearly ten years within the high technology industry at Tektronix, Inc., where he provided financial and strategic leadership in the corporate acquisition of more than ten companies in the U.S, Canada, Europe and Asia. Errett is currently focused on assisting small to medium-sized companies in the Portland area in optimizing their cost structure and overall business operations. Errett attended Gonzaga University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and International Business. He furthered his studies in Finance, International Business and Japanese language at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where he earned a Masters of Business Administration.
